Where Is The Bride? started with a wedding we weren't hired to film. A friend asked us to record their ceremony on a borrowed camera, and the reaction to that rough, unpolished footage taught us something: people didn't want a highlight reel. They wanted to remember how it actually felt to be there.
We are filmmakers who believe the smallest moments often become the most important ones — a parent's expression, a quiet conversation, a laugh between friends. That belief still shapes every film we make.
Weddings compress a lifetime of relationships into a single afternoon. Old friends, new in-laws, grandparents who won't be at the next one — all in one room, all at once. We film weddings because that convergence rarely happens again, and it deserves to be kept properly.
We shoot documentary-style — observing rather than directing. That means no re-created first looks, no posed walking shots, no interrupting your day for the camera. We stay close enough to catch what happens and far enough not to change it.
It also means trusting the day itself. Weddings are already full of drama, tenderness, and humour — our job is to notice it, not manufacture it.
