Emma & Luca

Emma flew in from London, Luca from Milan, and their families met properly for the first time on the terrace of a lakeside villa. What could have been formal turned into something else entirely — an afternoon of mismatched languages, too much wine, and Emma's father attempting a toast in broken Italian that nobody understood but everybody cheered for anyway.
