Best Wedding Venues in Malta
From bastion terraces to converted palazzos, the Maltese venues that consistently give us the best light and the best stories.

We've filmed close to forty weddings across Malta and Gozo, and by now we have firm opinions about where the light works and where it doesn't. This isn't a sponsored list — it's the handful of venues we'd recommend to a friend.
Valletta's bastion terraces
Anything along the old fortifications gives you the harbour as a backdrop and the kind of golden-hour light that does most of the work for us. The Phoenicia and Upper Barrakka Gardens both open onto the same view, but from different angles — worth visiting both before deciding.

Casa Rocca Piccola
A working aristocratic residence with a courtyard that seats around thirty comfortably. It's the venue we recommend most often for intimate weddings — the scale is right, and the history does a lot of the atmosphere for you without needing much styling.
Gozo's clifftop ceremonies
For couples who want the sea as their only backdrop, the cliffs near Ta' Cenc are hard to beat. Be honest with your guest list here — anything over thirty people and the intimacy that makes this location work starts to disappear.
